The Space Project

Development of £10.5m TV Studio complex in West Gorton.
Project Overview
The 360,000 sq.ft Space Project is the largest purpose-built studios outside of London. The complex features five stages fitted with lighting rigs, dressing rooms and prop stores. The site will also house office spaces for businesses within the media industry to be permanently based in. Chandos Civil Engineering were appointed to deliver a combination of refurbishment and new build.
Our Approach
The success of the project was due to effective project management, maintenance of Health & Safety standards, and the ability to plan interfaces with other trades.
