Inter Cheadle J.F.C. has continued to prosper since its inception in June 2007 and in September 2012, the Cheshire FA awarded Inter Cheadle the Charter Standard Community Club award for grassroots football, the pinnacle of the FA Grassroots Club Development Pathway. The award is presented to those Clubs who have raised their standards and lead the field in promoting best football practice, both on and off the pitch in grassroots football. The FA Charter Standard Community Club award acknowledges the support Inter Cheadle JFC provides to the local community and their efforts to ensure the club offers opportunities for players to develop their skills and play football in a safe and positive environment. Achieving Community Club Status is one of the truest measures of success for the FA’s Football Development Strategy and Inter Cheadle JFC are proud to be one of only a handful of clubs in the region to achieve this ultimate FA Charter Standard goal.
